Draft Proposals & Pitching

On Monday 22nd January, I shared my non-fiction film, sharing my proposal and giving a brief pitch to my crew. I received good feedback, with my crew all saying that I had a solid idea. However, after seeing the rest of my crews film proposals, I wish that I had been more adventurous when looking for a contributor and story for the non-fiction film project. I will explore and begin searching for other stories I could potentially tell and hopefully I can find a more emotionally powerful story before the pitch and proposal deadline next week.

Later in the day, we had a very enlightening production coordination skills session in the film theatre. This lecture made me realise how important good coordination really is in the film and TV industries.
