Non-Fiction Film Proposal & Pitch Deadline

On Monday 29th January, Me and my crew pitched our proposals to Ash and to each other trying to sell our idea as the best one. After some thought and discussion, we went with Claire’s idea as we all felt that it was the strongest, with the most potential. Although mine was not picked, it was considered and I think that it was a solid idea overall, as did my crew.

I had a reply email the next day from a potential contributor who seemed interested in us making a film about her and her struggle. Unfortunately though, this no longer mattered because we had already decided on an idea as a crew and because I did not know if this story could be an option, I did not pitch it to my crew. In reflection, I wish that I had contacted this lady at an earlier time because she may have replied in time for our pitches if I had done so.
